My Shabby Space... but not chic...

I am working on organizing & cleaning out my studio I started to work on it last Sunday but then decided to go swimming instead... This picture was taken at sunset to hide my mess. I don't know what it is but I have this block to get organized...It's not one of my strong points never has been... I do wish I was a little more anal ( oops) so I figured if I posted part of my home/studio work area it would put a little pressure on me & force me to get it together.... so will call these the before shots & will post the after soon I promise...
my little crammed messy alcove where I am now....
Oh how I love my books.. this is my sitting area right behind my alcove... to be continued...

Oh Laura, You can do it! It's good you put the pressure on yourself. I did the same thing with the Where Women Create blog party over at Karen's My Desert Cottage and it did the trick. Don't tell anyone my office is a huge mess now though and I can hardly walk in it without knocking everything down. Don't feel bad, you're not alone in the block to get organized - just go with the feeling when it hits and everyone watch out!

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!! I love your shabby space, it is right up my alley!! Love the sunset photo, it looks enchanting. I have the same problem when it comes to cleaning, I do a little here and a little there and then pretty soon I have talked myself into going shopping!!! LOL

I love it!! It looks almost mytical with the whites, especially in the picture of the light and shadows.

I see Fey!!!
Personally, I work better with everything I own out where I can see it!
Some of the best things I've done happened because i tripped over something!
Go swimming and enjoy life, my dear!

cleaning can happen later!!
