A lot on my mind...lately

Running the store some days can be very challenging especially when you are helping three customers at the same time ( in a very small space) and the the poor crazy homeless lady comes in accusing me of selling off her $ 145.00 Bari j bag she told me to hold?, I tried to calm her down even gave her a bar of French soap.. ( she was offended)....these long work days, trying to run a household, kids, school, dogs, customers, custom work, late nights sewing, making jewelry, juggling money, some days I ask myself what am I doing... should I get a real job... no because there aren't any out there... at my age being a single mom trying to survive does put a lot on my mind...but I guess I am following my heart & doing what I love.. Is anyone feeling like they have a lot on their mind lately?? fell free to share & lighten your load..I call them blog vents we all need one once in a while.. ..xoxox Laura

Hi Laura,
Altho I never had a homeless lady in my shop I remember those days. I miss them to tell you the truth. I wish with everything that I am that I had never closed my shop. I just got concerned over the economy. Now I am working at a job that gives me a check for doing somebody elses passion. So, Hang in there and trust the Lord. He knows your needs.

As my momma always says..."This too shall pass"...
Meaning either, it will get easier, or two you will receive the grace, peace and strength to get through it.
And my mom was usally right~lol

Keep doing what you love! It is the only thing that works for me.

The older I get, the more I hate doing all those fluffy things like being nice to people that I don't really like. Stay cool and calm this is the silly season, especially designed to frazzle our nerves.

If I was near by I would drop in and give you a break from the shop for the day. Then after your shop shuts we could go out for your well deserved glass of champagne.

Merry, merry Christmas.

p.s. Cinzia, the comment above my comment is one of the most wonderful ladies that I have met, I'm so glad she found you.
